I don’t know about the handle you use to open your side door, but my Dodge Promaster came with a very short one that required a lot of effort to open the door. Luckily there is a simple do it yourself fix. Let’s make opening your side door a lot easier shall we. 

Installation

With the included 5mm Allen wrench just remove the old handle, install the new one, tighten it down and you’re done! There is not much more to say about this product other than, what are you waiting for haha. 

After the 1-2 minutes it took to install this new handle, I was amazed at how much easier it was to open my sliding door from the inside.  It’s a great addition for all van owners, but especially those with limited hand strength and dexterity. I’m still baffled at why Dodge didn’t think of this.  

Pros

It’s bigger, stronger and much easier to grab a hold of.  It even has a hook on it for hanging keys, a towel or trash bag.  It’s surly the simplest and quickest modification you will ever add to your van.

Our Conclusion

This product is one of the quickest and most beneficial upgrades we have made to our van. The ease with which we can now open our sliding door from the inside is a night and day difference. I would highly recommend this upgrade to all van owners without a doubt. We are 100% satisfied with this product.
